The Comfort Cases UK team has cultivated a robust network of esteemed CSR partners whose support is integral to our charity’s mission. Whether through corporate partnerships as charity of the year sponsors, sponsorship of packing events, in-kind donations, contributions of end-of-line stock, or team fundraising efforts, we value each unique corporate partnership immensely.
Charity Partner & Sponsorships
Eden Brown Synergy is one of the longest established public sector & not-for-profit recruitment consultancies. Beyond offering financial assistance, they have leveraged their extensive network to expand Comfort Cases into previously untapped geographical areas.
Team Workshop & Packing Event
Moody’s hosted a sponsored packing day, aiding over 200 children in their local community. The event brought together various departments that typically don’t interact, fostering unity among employees. Additionally, we invited a speaker with lived experience of the care system, enriching the volunteering session with real-life insights.
Team Fundraiser
Encourage your team to raise funds to support a specific number of children. Each case directly benefits one child, fostering a sense of direct impact and boosting team morale. Consider adding a competitive twist by dividing your team into smaller groups and challenging them to see who can raise the most funds. This approach not only encourages teamwork but also maximizes your impact on the lives of children in need.
Corporate Volunteer Days
Both local businesses and larger corporations lend their support by actively participating at our Hub. Opportunities range from virtual and smaller-scale projects to traditional volunteering roles, offering diverse ways for individuals to get involved and contribute.
In the wake of Brexit and the Covid-19 pandemic, there has been a notable rise in the presence of small charities actively engaged in critical grassroots initiatives. These organisations play a pivotal role, with their beneficiaries often depending on them to address gaps left by underfunded or closing social services. However, the funding landscape is undergoing significant changes. Many long-standing grant makers and foundations are adjusting their criteria and narrowing their focus, leading to a reduction in available funding. Some of these entities have even ceased operations or merged with other funders.
Moreover, large corporations tend to favour established national charities, leaving smaller charities with limited options for financial support. Consequently, small charities heavily rely on forging enduring and meaningful corporate partnerships with corporations to sustain their operations and continue serving their communities.
Edenbrown Synergy have chosen Comfort Cases UK to be their 2023/24 charity partner of the year as they too want to eliminate the use of bin bags in the foster care system.
